MMI Preparatory School’s Upper School Drama Club will present an evening of one-act comedies December 9 and 10 at 7 p.m. in the MMI cafeteria.

All tickets are general admission only and seating is limited. Tickets are just $5 and are available at the door the night of the show or any time before the performance at the MMI Main Office.

The Upper School Drama Club students will perform 13 Ways to Screw Up a College Interview by Ian McWethy, which shows the mistakes 13 eccentric high school seniors make during an interview to fill the final spot at a prestigious university; Check, Please by Jonathan Rand, which follows a series of blind dinner dates that couldn’t get any worse – until they do; and 15 Reasons Not to Be in a Play by Alan Haehnel, a play about not being in a play, ironically expressed through a series of monologues, duets, and ensemble scenes.

The Upper School Drama Club is under the direction of Joanne Oakum. Ensemble cast members include: Mahum Ahmed, Kaitlyn Bellizia, Elliot Blasko, Merci Centrella, Andrew Decker, Daniel DeMelfi, Gabriella DeMelfi, Evan Dryfoos, Summer Evancho, Kyle Falatko, Lauren Herman, Elise Hreha, Kelisa Hysenbegasi, Garrett Kost, Marc Lobitz, Hunter O’Clair, Athena Nicholas, Erin Sari, Cole Smith, Julia Snyder, Alyssa Sweda and Justin Weiksner.
