Kost, McGeehan named Hazleton Elks Teens of the Year

MMI Preparatory School seniors Garrett Kost and Allison McGeehan were recently named the Hazleton Elks Lodge #200 Teenagers of the Year.

The award is designed to recognize outstanding young men and women for achievements in school and community life. Applicants were judged on the basis of character, leadership, citizenship and scholastics.

Garrett Kost is the son of Joseph and Natalie Kost, Freeland. Allison McGeehan is the daughter of Thomas and Sandra McGeehan, Drums.

This is the third year in a row, and the fourth time in the past eight years, that two MMI Preparatory School students received the honor.
