MMI holds induction ceremony for Chinese, German, and Spanish National Honor societies

MMI Preparatory School inducted students into the Chinese, German, and Spanish National Honor societies during an honor societies induction ceremony at the school.

MMI Head of School D. Scott Wiggins welcomed those in attendance and provided closing remarks.

Chinese instructor Christina Spencer inducted students into the Echoes of Wisdom and Philosophy Chapter of the National Chinese Honor Society. Students inducted are: Mahum Ahmed, daughter of Dr. Asad and Dr. Bina Ahmed of Mountaintop; Kaitlyn Bellizia, daughter of Thomas and Mary Ann Bellizia of Sugarloaf; Elizabeth Borchick, daughter of Lance and Cynthia Borchick of Drums; Andrew Decker, son of Aaron Decker of Kingston and Elizabeth and Troy Topolski of Sugarloaf; Summer Evancho, daughter of John Evancho of Sugarloaf and the late Joan Evancho; Wesley Guarneri, son of Vincent and Sop Guarneri of Wilkes-Barre; Elise Hreha, daughter of Eric and Elizabeth Hreha of White Haven; Amanda Kalada-Kania, daughter of Kevin Kania and Susan Kalada of Drums; Emily Mundorf, daughter of Thomas and Patricia Mundorf of Mountaintop; Christine Park, daughter of Jae and Young Park of Hazle Township; Brian Payne, son of Brian Payne of Sugarloaf and the late Marie Payne; Ariah Saeed, daughter of Zubeen Saeed of Mountaintop; Bailey Slusser, daughter of Atty. German instructor Gabriela Moustardas inducted students into the Simon Faltz Chapter of the National German Honor Society. Spanish instructor Syra Cruz Dewar inducted students into the Pablo Picasso Chapter of the Sociedad Honoraria Hispanica .
