MMI junior Angelica Alday has been chosen to serve on the Junior Leadership Wilkes-Barre Student Advisory Council for the 2017-2018 program year. In this role, she will mentor and advise members of the Class of 2018, and will have the opportunity to serve as a Project Advisor or as a member of the Selection Committee that will work to choose members of the Class of 2019.

Participants of the Student Advisory Council are chosen based on their commitment to the Junior Leadership experience, their participation and engagement in monthly programs, as well as their contributions to their Community Impact Projects. Appointment to the council is dependent upon a voting system amongst the 65 members of the Junior Leadership Wilkes-Barre class, as well as recommendations and encouragement from current project advisers.

Jessica L. Cronauer, Director of Programs & Communications for Leadership Wilkes Barre, said, “Angelica will surely be an asset to our 2017-2018 Student Advisory Council.”
