MMI inducts students into Chinese, German, and Spanish National Honor societies

MMI Preparatory School recently inducted students into the Chinese, German, and Spanish National Honor societies during a ceremony at the school.

Chinese instructor Christina Spencer inducted students into the Echoes of Wisdom and Philosophy Chapter of the National Chinese Honor Society. Students inducted are: David Antolick, son of David and Debbie Antolick, Drums; Jessica Flynn, daughter of Richard and Karen Flynn, Mahanoy City; Catherine Havrilla, daughter of James and Emily Havrilla, Moutaintop; Madyson Hornack, daughter of John and Jeanie Hornack, White Haven; Benjamin Putnam, son of Benjamin and Andrea Putnam, Sugarloaf; Maya Rizkalla, daughter of Sandra Rizkalla, Freeland, and George Rizkalla, Drums; Josue Rodriguez, son of Jose and Dulce Rodriguez, Hazleton; and Macy Zenier, daughter of Tedd and Judith Zenier, Conyngham.

German instructor Gabriela Moustardas inducted students into the Simon Faltz Chapter of the National German Honor Society. Students inducted are: Louis DeAngelo, son of Aaron and Grete Floryshak, Sugarloaf, and Louis DeAngelo, Hazle Township; Natalie Graham, daughter of Ryan and Heidi Graham, Tamaqua; Morgan Hosier, daughter of Barry and Marcianna Hosier, West Pittston; Dominique Kline, daughter of Dr. John and Dr. June Kline, Mountaintop; Sydney Kohl, daughter of Peter and Jina Kohl, Mountaintop; Ethan Stine, son of Jeffrey and Tracy Stine, Mountaintop; and Ella Urosevich, daughter of Dr. Thomas and Lori Urosevich, Mountaintop.

Spanish instructor Syra Cruz Dewar inducted students into the Pablo Picasso Chapter of the Sociedad Honoraria Hispanica. Students inducted are: Christian Badamo, son of Anthony and Jessica Badamo, Sugarloaf; Alexis Dalesandro, daughter of Dustan Dalesandro and Kimberly Mumaw, Drums; Katherine Lewandowski, daughter of James and Nancy Lewandowski, Mountaintop; Hiba Muhammad, daughter of Ikram and Alia Muhammad, Mountaintop; Samantha Sparich, daughter of Joseph and Michele Sparich, Weatherly; and Darren Zheng, son of De and Hongzhi Zheng, Jim Thorpe.
