MMI Preparatory School announced the names of students who were inducted into the Chinese, German, and Spanish National Honor societies.
Students inducted into the Echoes of Wisdom and Philosophy Chapter of the National Chinese Honor Society are: Julie Amentler, daughter of Dr. John and Christine Amentler of Hazle Township; Kimberly Amentler, daughter of Dr. John and Christine Amentler of Hazle Township; Hunter Blasko, son of Mark and Susan Blasko of White Haven; Hannah Falatko, daughter of Christine Falatko of Freeland and Robert Falatko of Freeland; Aaron Haber, son of Dr. John and Cathryn Haber of Tresckow; Kevin McNulty, son of Kimberly and Timothy McNulty of Forty Fort; Robert Rinaldi, son of Robert and Catherine Rinaldi of Sugarloaf; Emily Ryan, daughter of Sam and Susan Ryan of White Haven; Jacqueline Snyder, daughter of Dr. Christopher and Dr. Jill Snyder of Sugarloaf; Millie Symbula, daughter of Frank and Jill Symbula of Drums; and Alexandra Young, daughter of Christian and Nicole Young of Freeland. Chinese instructor Christina Spencer is the advisor.
Students inducted into the Simon Faltz Chapter of the National German Honor Society are: Alain Benitez, son of Iris Mendoza of West Hazleton and Jose Benitez of Elmont,NY; Dustin Paul, son of Rustin and Cynthia Paul of Jim Thorpe; and Althea Stewart, daughter of Dina Stewart of Hazleton. German instructor Gabriela Moustardas is the advisor.
Students inducted into the Pablo Picasso Chapter of the Sociedad Honoraria Hispanica are: Olivia Bartholomew, daughter of Dean and Cheryl Bartholomew of Jim Thorpe; Rachael Betz, daughter of Dr. Amy Houm of Tamaqua and Richard Betz of Honesdale; Jayden Bonham, son of William and Melissa Bonham of Sugarloaf; James Kelly, son of James and Chris Kelly of Mountaintop; Ashley Loss, daughter of Frederick and Melissa Loss of Hazle Township; and Daniella Vasquez, daughter of Ramon Vasquez and Seily Abreu of Hazleton. Spanish instructor Syra Cruz Dewar is the advisor.
